Contractor FAQ

Apply through our For Contractors page. We review your license, insurance, references, and past work. Qualified contractors are invited for an interview before joining our network.

You need: valid contractor's license, general liability insurance ($1M minimum), workers' comp (if applicable), at least 3 years in business, and verifiable references from recent projects.

There's no upfront fee to join. We earn a referral fee only when you win and complete a project through our platform. You keep the majority of the project value.

You'll receive detailed project scopes via email and our contractor portal. Each scope includes measurements, specifications, and photos - everything you need to provide an accurate bid.

We don't sell leads. You bid on professionally-scoped projects where the homeowner is committed and ready to hire. Projects are pre-qualified and you compete with only 2 other contractors on an equal playing field.

The homeowner reviews all three bids with their Remodel Experts advisor. If selected, we facilitate introductions and contract signing. We stay involved throughout the project to ensure success.
