The Remodel Experts
Quality Guarantee

We don't just connect you with contractors. We set standards, document the process, and stand behind the work.

What Our Guarantee Covers

Our guarantee isn't about doing everything for you. It's about ensuring minimum standards, a documented process, and a clear escalation path if things go wrong.

Verified Contractors

Every contractor in our network is verified for licensing (where required by state), carries active insurance with coverage we've confirmed, and has passed a background check. We don't just take their word for it—we verify.

Standardized Contracts

All projects use our standardized contract template that clearly outlines scope, timeline, payment schedule, change order process, and warranty terms. No confusing legalese or hidden clauses.

Protected Payments

Your payments are tied to specific milestones. Funds are only released when work is verified complete. This protects you from paying for work that hasn't been done and ensures the contractor has incentive to complete each phase properly.

Change Order Protection

Scope changes happen—unexpected conditions, upgrades, modifications. Our process requires all change orders to be documented in writing with your explicit approval before any additional work begins or charges are applied. No surprise bills.

Dedicated Support

You have a direct line to our support team throughout your project. If issues arise that you can't resolve with your contractor, we step in to mediate. We've handled disputes, schedule conflicts, and quality concerns—and we have the leverage to get things fixed.

Workmanship Warranty

All work performed through Remodel Experts carries a minimum 1-year workmanship warranty. If something fails due to improper installation within that period, the contractor is obligated to fix it. We hold them to it.

What We Don't Cover

We're honest about the limits of our guarantee. Here's what falls outside our scope:

Material Defects

Manufacturer defects in materials (appliances, fixtures, etc.) are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, not ours. We'll help you document and navigate manufacturer claims if needed.

Homeowner-Sourced Materials

If you provide your own materials, the contractor isn't responsible for defects in those materials. Installation is still covered.

Design Decisions

We help you plan, but final design decisions are yours. If you later decide you don't like a color or layout you approved, that's not a warranty issue.

Hidden Conditions

Existing problems discovered during work (mold, structural issues, outdated wiring) require additional work and cost. Our change order process ensures you approve these before work proceeds.

Our Escalation Process

If something goes wrong, here's exactly what happens:

1

You Contact Us

Call or email our support team with your concern. Describe the issue and share any photos or documentation.

2

We Review & Document

We review your contract, scope, and project history. We document the issue and determine if it falls within warranty/guarantee coverage.

3

We Contact the Contractor

We reach out to the contractor with the documented issue and request resolution within a specified timeframe.

4

Resolution or Mediation

Most issues are resolved at this stage. If not, we mediate between you and the contractor to find a fair resolution.

5

Final Action

If the contractor fails to resolve a valid warranty issue, they face removal from our network. In extreme cases involving held funds, we can redirect payment to remediation.
